William Hal Williamson 54, died Monday, February 25, 2013 at Randolph Hospital, Asheboro, NC.
Funeral Services will be 11:00 AM, Friday, March 1, 2013 at Needhams Grove Baptist Church, with the Reverend James Cockram and Pastor Arnold Comer officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends following the service at the Church and at other times at the home.
Mr. Williamson was a native of Randolph County. He worked for Eveready, loved NASCAR and Carolina sports. He was faithful in the care of his mother for many years. He was a son of the late Ollie William Williamson and was preceded in death by sister, Diana Dickerson and brother, Bobby Williamson.
Hal is survived by his mother, Mittie Comer Williamson, sister: Geneva Garner and husband Herbert, of Robbins and many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Needhams Grove Baptist Church Building Fund, 359 Needham Grove Road, Seagrove, NC 27341.
Kennedy Funeral Home is assisting the Williamson family.
