John William Dunbar Jr.

John W Dunbar Jr., age 61, of Jackson Springs, died Tuesday, October 22, 2019 at his home.

A native of Clarksburg, he was the son of John William & Lydia Smith Dunbar. He was a US Army veteran John served in the last part of the Vietnam War. He worked most of his life as a painter and took great pride in his work.

He was preceded in death by a sister Louise Cox, brother James Dunbar and nephew Billy Dunbar, Jr.

He is survived by: his sister, Kimberly Kennedy of Jackson Springs; brothers, Robert Dunbar, Billy Dunbar, Jerry Dunbar; daughter, Brandy Dunbar of Clarksburg, WV; son, Joshua Dunbar of Clarksburg, WV; nieces, Jessica Gill, Vanessa Gill; nephews, Brice Dowd, Clayton Dowd; several other nieces, nephews and cousins.

Kennedy Funeral Home is serving the Dunbar family.
