Aggie “Bell” Pope, 94, of Robbins, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, March 30, 2021 at FirstHealth Hospice House, Pinehurst, NC.
Bell, as she was known , was born May 7, 1926 to the late Kenney and Aggie Maness Cockman. She was a loving daughter, sister, wife, mother and grandmother. Bell loved the Lord and was a faithful member of Bright Light Baptist Church. She loved gospel music and singing in the choir. Bell liked to be outdoors, caring for her yard and enjoying God’s creation. Time spent with her family was important, she enjoyed making trips to the mountains. Bell worked for many years in the textile industry. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Charlie Pope; son: Ricky Pope; 6 siblings.
Bell is survived by daughter: Brenda Sue Caddell (Bobby), of Carthage; son: Carter Pope, of Spies; 7 grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren; 3 great great grandchildren; sister: Kathleen Craddock; many nieces, nephews and friends..
A graveside service will be held 1 pm , Thursday, April 1, 2021 at Pine Rest Cemetery in Robbins, with the Reverend Sammy McNeill officiating.
