Agnes Starcher

Agnes, Starcher, 98, a 12 year resident of Quail Haven Village, died Dec. 5.
Born in Clarksburg, WV, Mrs. Starcher graduated from Alfred University, Alfred, NY and studied library science at State University College, Geneseo, NY. During WWII she served as a field representative for the American Red Cross.
She was a librarian at Shinnston (WV) High School and Bridgeport (WV) Junior High School. An active volunteer she was a member of American Association of University Women, Delta Kappa Gamma Sorority, a past president of the Harrison County Dental Auxiliary, Past president of the Methodist Women of Shinnston First United Methodist Church, a 50-year member and past president of the Shinnston Women
