Alesia Lynn Bolton Whitaker, age 52 of Carthage died Thursday at her home.
A memorial service will be held 2:00 PM Monday at Beaver Creek Baptist Church. The family will receive friends Sunday from 6:00 - 8:00 PM at Fry and Prickett Funeral Home.
Born in Columbia, South Carolina, April 6, 1960 to the late Bobbie Gene and Phyllis Elliott Bolton she grew up in Fort Myers, Florida attended Riverdale High School and enjoyed a love for riding horses. She moved to the Carthage area nearly 20 years ago and found a fondness for antiquing. For a period of time she was employed with Moore County Schools. Though her proudest and most fulfilling job was Mama to her three children. She also became a loving and supportive friend to many in the community, compassion being her first language, she helped many people through difficult times and was always a pilliar of strength to anyone who needed it.
She is survived by: Her husband Mickey J. Whitaker, daughter Dana Snyder and husband Jason of Harrison, GA, Loren McRae and husband James of Ft. Meyers, FL, son Tyler Whitaker of Carthage; step daughters Heather Huthcison and husband Andrew of Birmingham, AL, Melissa Cokely and husband Drew of Moody, AL; sister Lenora B. Lee of Ft. Meyers, FL; brothers Broderick Bolton of Merritt Island, FL, Angelo Bolton of Alva, FL; And the lights of her life her 8 grandchildren. Jersey, Alex, Alssia, Kaleb, Mason, Jenna-Kate, Karley and Justus.
