Alice Brogen Bane

After a courageous battle with a very aggressive form of cancer, Alice Brogan Bane, 82, passed away Friday, June 12 at 9 PM surrounded by family.

Although she could not communicate at that point, we believe that she heard the many statements of love and gratitude for her place in the lives of her family.

She survived by her husband, the Right Reverend David C. Bane, Jr, daughters Carolyn Searle, Heather Gamble, and Amber Seneres and son David C. Bane III, as well as 11 grandchildren.

There will be a Celebration of Her Life at 11 AM, Saturday, June 20, at Emmanuel Episcopal Church, 350 E. Massachusetts Ave. Southern Pines, North Carolina. The service will be live streamed through the Emmanuel Episcopal Church Southern Pines website (https://www.emmanuel-parish.org)
