Alneta Taylor Short, age 84, died Sunday at her residence.
A graveside service will be held 11:00 am Tuesday at Culdee Presbyterian Church with the Rev. Joseph Washburn officiating.
A native of Florida, she was the last surviving child of the late Alley Taylor and Lessie Watson Taylor. She worked for the Dugan family as head housekeeper for many years and the Swift family in Florida. She was preceded in death by her husband, E. A. Short and a son, Floyd Short.
Survivors include daughters, Cindy Cox & husband, Johnny of Carthage, Nancy Turner and Paulette Moulton both of Osprey, Florida; three grandchildren; two great-grandchildren.
