Alva E. Williams Brown

Alva Elizabeth McDonald Williams Brown passed away at the home of her daughter in Atalanta, Georgia on March 11, 2011. She was born to Duncan P. and Annie E. McDonald of Pinehurst on March 12, 1917.
She was preceded in death by husband, Charles Brown, daughter, Patricia Ruff, son, Terry Williams, brothers, Alex, Daniel, Donald, and Dalton McDonald; sisters, Lydia Smith, Agnes Hunt, and Adel McQueen.
She is survived by daughter, Jeanine Peavy of Atlanta, GA; sons, Chalres Brown of Atlanta, GA, Kirk Williams, and Rev. Max Williams of Carthage, NC; sister, Alma Sineath of Texas;
22 grandchildren; 39 great grandchildren, and 36 great great grandchildren.
There will be a memorial service on Saturday (10/1/2011) 3:00 PM at McDonald's Chapel Presbyterian Church, 1374 Foxfire Rd., Aberdeen, NC.
Fry and Prickett Funeral Home in Carthage is handling the local arrangements.
