Alvin Linton Seawell 77, of Asheboro died Friday, March 2, 2012 at Mose Cone Hospital in Greensboro.
Funeral service will be 7:00 PM Thursday at at Kennedy Funeral Home in Robbins, NC with Reverend Brent Seawell of Bailey's Grove Baptist Church and Mack Beck officiating. Music will be provided by Carol Stephenson. The family will receive prior to the service beginning at 5:00 PM. Burial will be in Friendship Baptist Church cemetery.
Mr. Seawell was a member of Bailey's Grove Baptist Church. He served in the United States Air Force and also served as a Methodist minister, was self employed in the drywall business and was an Insurance Agent with Liberty Life. He was a son of the late Homer Franklin and Ethel Pearl Williams Seawell and his brother June Seawell preceded him in death.
Alvin is survived by: his children Pamela S. Wallace and husband Chris, of Asheboro, Chanda S. Leonard and husband Chad, of Bennett; Steven P. Seawell, of Asheboro, Jason D. Seawell and wife Jamie, of Asheboro; their mother Peggy Beck Seawell; grandchildren Wendy Baker, Dalton Seawell, Christian Wallace, Carley Leonard.
