  8. I have known Darlene since before I was a teenager. My Mom, Darlene and Ruby Gray were best friends while working at Moore Regional on Tufts Hall in the early 80s. I spoke with Darlene back in September 2022 and told her my Mom had passed away. She always had that gentle voice of reassuring and that everything would be ok. If I needed her to vent to, I could call and talk. We stayed on the phone for over an hour reminiscing about life, memories and other things. She will definitely be missed…Prayers to the friends and family of Darlene. I love you!
