Amelia Rose Ehrhardt Moz
September 1, 1946 ~ November 3, 2010
Dr. Amelia Rose Ehrhardt Moz, daughter of Herbert and Laivora Ehrhardt of Pinehurst passed away at Duke Medical Center on November 2, 1020.
Amelia graduated from Pinehurst High School. She earned her Bachelor and Master of Music Degrees from the University of North carolina in Greensboro. Amelia earned her Doctor of Musical Arts from the University of Texas at Austin where she was elected to membership into the Phi Kappa Phi Honor Society. Amelia studied voice in Rome, Italy and performed in both the United States and Europe. She opened a music studio in Pinehurst and gave performances in Pinehurst and the surrounding communities. Amelia was involved as choir director in several local churches. Dr. Moz is survived by her husband, Dr. Adriano Moz and a daughter, Elizabeth Moz.

I took piano lessons from "Miss Amelia" when I was in high school, and my younger sister took voice lessons. She was always so incredibly encouraging, and inspired me to pursue my dream of becoming a professional musician. Words cannot describe
Dr. Moz and Elizabeth, you can be proud of Rose for all of her inner beauty as well as out. She touched so many people with her tallent and carring for others. She will be missed by all.

I am so sorry to hear of Rose’s death. I was her roommate at Brevard College many years ago. She was so talented. I have to happy to hear that she achieved her goals.
