Angela Sistrunk Painter 46, died Saturday, July 31, 2021, at FirstHealth Moore Regional Hospital, Pinehurst, NC, surrounded by her family.

Angela was a native of Moore County and a graduate of Sandhills Community College with a degree in Cosmetology.   She worked at Wendy’s Cuts and Styles for many years.  Angie loved people, with an outgoing personality, she never met a stranger.  She could be opinionated at times but was good hearted and was always ready to help anyone. Angie loved her family, trips to the beach and “sweets”. She was a daughter of the late Michael James Sistrunk and  Martha Hussey Brewer.

Angie is survived by her husband of 30 years, Mitchell: sons: Shad Painter, Tyler Painter and Casey Dennis; daughter: Josie Painter; granddaughter: Bailie and soon to be born, grandson: Jameson; sister: Patricia Bezouska: many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

Graveside service will be 11:00 AM, Tuesday, August 3, 2021 at Putnam Friends Church Cemetery.  The family will receive friends for fellowship, following the service, at the home of Tammy Spivey, 169 Spivey Road, Carthage NC

The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 PM, Monday, August 2, 2021 at Kennedy Funeral Home.

  19. I am so sorry to hear of Angie’s passing. To Mitchell and the kid’s, Pauline will be standing on the streets of gold to say welcome home. Angie was a sweet and loving woman. She had a heart bigger than she was, and a loving smile. Now she can tell Pauline all the stories of all that happened through the years that Pauline missed. They can compare notes and have laughs with each other like old times. Now the Angels have another voice to the Heavenly Choir. She will be missed by all, but by God’s Graces we will meet again. Go Rest High on the Mountain and walk the streets of Gold.

I always enjoyed talking to Angela at Wendy’s shop.She was always full of laughter and smiles.I am so very sorry to hear of her passing.I know her health had declined over the years and now she is fully healed.My life was enriched by knowing her and I will never forget her.My sincerest sympathies to the family and I will be praying for you all.
