Angus Lee McCaskill, age 85, passed away on Tuesday, April 4, 2023 at First Health Moore Regional Hospital.

He was born on April 21, 1937 to the late Tom and Sarah McCaskill.

Lee was dedicated to his family and friends. His son reminisced that Lee knew everybody and, no matter where they went, Lee knew someone to hold a conversation with. Lee was a hard working state worker for NCDOT. He loved to garden and grew vegetables for the family to eat and share with neighbors and friends.

He was preceded in death by his wife Linda; his brother Ralph McCaskill, and sister Margaret Fennel.

Lee is survived by his son John McCaskill; and his brother Blue McCaskill and numerous nieces and nephews.

Funeral service will be held on Friday, April 7, 2023, at 11:00am, at First Presbyterian Church of Carthage. Burial will follow at Raeford Cemetery. Family will receive friends from 6-8pm on Thursday, April 6, 2023 at Fry & Prickett Funeral Home.

    Mother were special to so many and a big part of our FPC family. As I was privileged to get to know your Mother and Dad better over the
    past few years, they were an inspiration and joy to know. They will be missed. My sympathy to you and relatives.
