Kim and I are grieved for you all in the loss of Mrs. Monroe. A kind, encouraging lady with a positive outlook. I will always appreciate greatly the support she and Mr. Monroe gave to our school and to me. She will be missed. May God cradle you all in His loving arms in your grief and in the days to come. We love you. Kim and Bruce Williams
Nita and I met in about 1955. We both worked at Consumer Credit in Oklahoma City. We became dear friends. I was engaged to a guy who was in the Navy. He brought Allen Monroe home with him for a weekend leave and we introduced him and Nita. It was love at first sight! My engagement didn’t last but their’s sure did. Nita and I stayed close even when they moved to North Carolina. Loved her so much and miss her, but know she is finally where she wanted to be.
