Pearl Marley Buie, age 71 of Seagrove died Sunday (June 16, 2013) at her home.
Funeral services will be 2:00 Wednesday at Calvary Baptist Church conducted by the Rev. Bill Cooper, Rev. Mike Holyfield and Rev. Bradley Ritter. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends at the church prior to the service beginning at 1:00 PM.
A native of Moore County she was a daughter of the late Ernest and Nepsie Cockman Marley. She worked for many years at Montgomery Hosiery Mill. She was preceded in death by her husband, Teddy Buie; a daughter, Elaine Hartsell and son, Bobby Buie.
She is survived by: sons Stevie Buie and Vernie Buie; daughter Jeanie Dunmyer all of Seagrove; sisters Martha Love of Ramsuer, Frances Standley of Biscoe, Prilla Brown of Seagrove; five grandchildren and one great grandchild.
Kennedy Funeral Home in Robbins is serving the Buie family.
