Anthony J.(Whitetail) Seawell, 52 died Sunday January 29, 2012 at UNC Hospital in Chapel Hill.
Funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM Thursday February 2, 2012 at Putnam Friends Church with the Rev. Billy Joe Brady officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
A native of Moore County he was a avid hunter and fisherman, a devoted father and husband. He was past member and president of Richland Creek Hunt Club. He worked at Perdue for 20 years. He was preceded in death by his father Billy John Seawell.
He is survived by his wife of 7 years: Angela Faye Seawell of the home; 2 daughters; Kasey Fawn Seawell and Emily Elizabeth Seawell both of Carthage; a step-daughter, Jessica Lynn Scarboro of Sanford; mother Betty Lou Seawell of Carthage; brother William Jerrell Seawell of Carthage and a nephew; John Tyler Seawell of Carthage; 1 grandchild; Brenen Chase Reynolds.
Family will receive friends from 6-8 PM on Wednesday February 1, 2012 at Kennedy Funeral Home in Robbins and other times at his residence
