Mrs. Arnetta D. Covington, age 78 of Needmore Street died Wednesday (March 4, 2009) at the residence of her son Percy Degraffendreid.
Funeral services will be 1:00 PM Saturday at Pleasant Hill FWB Church with the Elder Valine Thompson, Pastor officiating. Burial will follow in Mt. Olive AME Zion Church Cemetery. Viewing will be from 11:00 —1:00 PM at the church prior to the service.

    Arnetta meant the world to me. She was full of wisdom and HERSELF! I\’ll never forget when I delivered BeBe\’s puppies and she would leave the room each time one was born, because she would get so upset. She felt like a second Mama
