Arnold Rosser Garner 81, of 261 Rockingham Street, died Tuesday, May 4, 2010 at Pinelake Health and Rehabilitation Center.
Funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM Friday, May 7, 2010 at Elise Presbyterian Church where he was a member. Rev. Jerry VunCannon and Rev. John Chappell will officiate and the burial will follow at Pine Rest Cemetery.
He was a native of Moore County and was the owner of Arnold Garner Insurance Agency. He was preceded in death by parents, Elbert and Vallie Barker Garner, daughter Joyce Garner Seawell, granddaughter, Hannah Maria Seawell and sisters, Marie Shorter and Dolores Garner.
Mr. Garner is survived by his wife of 60 years Betty Lewis Garner, son, Mark Lewis Garner and partner Cynthia Ann Reeves of Pinebluff, daughter, Beth Garner Hall and husband Lee of Cary, grandchildren Lucas Garner of Kitty Hawk, Alexandria Hall and Grayland Rosser Hall of Cary.
Family will receive friends from 6:30 to 8:30 PM Thursday May 6, 2010 at
Kennedy Funeral Home in Robbins and at other times at the home.
