Arthur C. Brewer 89,  died Thursday, July 16, 2015 at FirstHealth Moore Regional Hospital, Pinehurst, NC.

 

Funeral service will be held at 3:00 PM Sunday, July 19, 2015 at Browns Chapel Christian Church, with the Reverend Billy Joe Brady officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

 

Arthur loved his family and spending time with them.  He enjoyed being outside, relaxing on the porch and drinking “Pepsi.”  Arthur worked in the textile industry until his retirement

 

Arthur was preceded in death by his parents: Doctor Franklin and Jeanette Morgan Brewer and his siblings.

 

Arthur is survived by sons: Thomas Brewer and wife Melissa, Glenn Brewer and wife Carolyn; grandchildren: Robert Brewer and wife Cathy, Neil Brewer and wife Lisa, Brian Brewer, April Richardson and Husband Jimmy; great-grandchildren: Katie Brewer, Josh Brewer, Mikala Richardson, Savannaha Brewer, Clayton Brewer, Lauren Brewer, Callie Brewer; and good friend, Annie Mae Wallace.

 

The family would like to thank caregivers Meredith and Brenda for all their loving care for Arthur.

 

The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 PM Saturday, July 18, 2015 at Kennedy Funeral Home and at other times at the home.
