Arthur Harold Wilke, 91, of Southern Pines passed awayThursday March 31, 2011 at FirstHealth Moore Regional Hospital in Pinehurst.
Arthur was born August 21, 1919 in Chicago, IL, and was a son of Arthur and Helen Wilke.
He is survived by his three children, Kathy Townsend and husband Larry of Pinehurst; Gary Wilke and wife Mary of San Antonio, TX; and Jeffrey Wilke of Germantown, MD.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Bernice and sister, Virginia Laurell.
Arthur was a veteran of WWII and was devoted to his wife of 68 years, children, and his desire to play the piano.
