Barbara Jane Davis, 73, of Southern Pines, passed away on January 25, 2019.
Born in Ambler, Pennsylvania on March 28, 1945, she was the daughter of Amos Robert Davis and Marion Louise Johnson Davis.
She is survived by her sister-in-law, Carmella Davis of Cochranville, Pennsylvania; niece, Kimberly Anne Davis (Brian Falla) of Hudson, Massachusetts; nephew, Michael R. Davis (Amy) of Oxford, Pennsylvania; two great-nephews and three great-nieces. She is also survived by her beloved dog, Willie.
Barbara retired from the law office of Jennifer B. Garner. After being retired for a few years, she returned to work part-time with the Moore County Sheriff's Office.

What a nice lady.-Â I remember Barbara when she had her secretarial service on Pennsylvania Ave.-Â I worked across the street from her in the old Chamber of Commerce building and always enjoyed talking to her.-Â Condolences to her family.
I had the privilege to call Barbara my friend,-Â along with her best boy Willie she will be surely missed. .May you rest in peace sweet lady.-Â
I’m sorry for your loss, pain and suffering. Whenever we lose a loved one in death we feel a sting and a void in our hearts, as if someone ripped part of our heart out. The pain seems like it will never go away. It will with time, or it will at least ease
