Barbara Sue Stuart, 73, of Robbins passed away on Saturday February 20, 2016 in Pinehurst.

A celebration of Barbara's life will be held on Wednesday, March 2, 2016 at 2:oo PM at Providence Chapel Baptist Church with the Rev Bo Wansley officiating.

Barbara was a native of Moore County. She was preceded in death by her parents Russell and Edith Cox Moore, and a brother Norman "Dude" Moore

Barbara loved her family and friends dearly and was always willing to be there for people in need. She was very active in her church, loving to read and listening to music was a few of her favorite things to do; and her most favorite place to visit was Myrtle Beach, SC , where she made several trips a year with friends.

She was incredibly strong in her faith and faced her illness and impending death with the same practicality and humor that she lived her life, knowing she was headed for a better place with those who had gone before her.

Barbara is survived by her daughter:  Kim Stuart of Chandler, AZ and a son:  Guy Stuart of Abilene, TX as well as one grandson Elijah Allen of Los Angeles, CA:  2 sisters: Louise Butler and husband Carlton and Shelvia McAnulty and husband Jerry; and 2 brothers: Stoney Moore and Jerry Moore and wife Delois. She leaves behind numerous aunts, neices, nephews and cousins who will miss her tremendously.

In lieu of flowers family ask donations be made to: St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Place, Memphis, TN  38015
