Basil Jospeh Antonucci
July 4, 1938 ~ February 9, 2015
Basil Antonucci of Carthage, NC formerly of New Jersey passed away after a short illness on February 9, 2015 at the age of 76.
Visiting will be held in Paul Ippolito Memorial, 252-256 Henry St., Orange on Sunday, Feb. 15th from 1-5 PM. The funeral will be held on Monday, Feb. 16th in the funeral home at 9:30 am followed by the Funeral Mass in St. Philomena Church, Livingston at 10:30 am; Entombment Gate of Heaven Mausoleum, East Hanover, NJ.
Basil was born and raised in Orange, NJ and lived in Clifton, NJ then Albrightsville, PA for 8 years before moving to Carthage, NC.
Basil worked as a plant engineer for C.R. Gibson Co. in Clifton for over 35 years before retiring.
He was the beloved husband for 36 years of Lorraine (nee Finizio): loving father of Joseph (Stephanie) Antonucci, Karen Antonucci , Joan Langlois and his stepson Steven Sandra; loving brother of Gennaro (Debra) Antonucci, Anthony (Judy) Antonucci, Joseph (Eleanor) Antonucci, Michael (Michelle) Antonucci, Phyllis Iatesta and the late John and Richard Antonucci. Brother-in-law of Gail Antonucci and Joanne Venza; proud grandfather of Brandon Langlois also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.
