Beauford Clifton Garner

Beauford Clifton Garner, 85, passed away on July 14, 2018 at home surrounded by his family. He was born in Eagle Springs, NC to the late Newton and Lessie Mae Garner.
Beauford lived in Portsmouth, VA for over 40 years where he worked as a Machinist for General Foam Plastics. He was an avid history buff and especially loved the Civil War Era. He was also a member of the Dismal Swamp Rangers, a black powder gun club.
Left to cherish his memory are his wife of 65 years, Loretta Garner; his sons, Craig Garner, Keith Garner; Mark Garner & wife Rhonda; his grandchildren, Amber Hughes, Megan Cooper, Newton Garner and Spring Garner; his great-grandchildren, Kinley & Kieryn Cooper, and Griffin Hughes.
Beauford’s funeral service will be held 1:00 pm Friday July 20, 2018 at Pleasant View Evangelical Friends Church, Pastor Quint Dunlap and Reverend Jacelyn Jones officiating. Burial to follow immediately after.
Visitation will be held Thursday, July 19, 2018 from 6:00-8:00 pm at Kennedy Funeral Home, Robbins, NC.
