Bertha Reynolds
April 26, 1926 ~ March 27, 2014
Bertha Mosher Reynolds, who went to be with the Lord on March 27, 2014, was born on April 26, 1926 in Scotland County, NC to M. J. (Maurice) and Sarah Frye Mosher.
The family later moved to Pinehurst where she spent her childhood and graduated from Pinehurst High School. She met and married James T. “Jim” Reynolds and other than two years in Alaska during his military service they resided in Niagara. She retired from Moore Regional Hospital after many years as the Housekeeping Secretary but remained active in her church as a pianist until her health began to decline. After 51 years of marriage, her husband predeceased her.
She is survived by her daughter, Gloria Morgan, three sons, Terrell and his wife Marie, Henry and his wife Judy, and Maurice and his wife Tillie, seven grandchildren and ten great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 3:00 p.m.on Sunday at Pleasant Hill Baptist Church with Rev. Greg Newton officiating . Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
The family will receive friends at 2:00 p.m. at the church prior to the service.

So sorry to hear of Mrs. Bertha’s passing. I remember growing up going to Pleasant Hill and seeing Mrs. Bertha most every time the doors opened. She was such a sweet lady. RIP Mrs. Bertha and know that you were such an inspiration to us all.
