Bessie M. Oldham, age 96 formerly of Glendon died Monday, (August 13, 2007) at Pinlake Health and Rehabilitation Center in Carthage.
Funeral Services will be 3:00 PM Thursday at Cool Springs United Methodist Church of which she was a member. The Rev. William Cashion will be officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
A native of Moore County she was a daughter of the late Jonah and Lydia Martindale Maness and was a homemaker. She was preceded in death by her husband Henry B. Oldham and son Harvey Oldham.
She is survived by: daughter Wilsie Dalton and husband James of Blackstone, VA; sons Tommie Oldham and wife Faye of Glendon, Walter Oldham and wife Chris, and Charlie Oldham all of Bear Creek; Russell Oldham and wife Janice of Siler City; daughter-in-law Ruth Oldham of Bennett.
The family will receive friends at Fry and Prickett Funeral Home Wednesday from 6:30 —8:30 PM.

I just watched the memorial video and it brought back memories of my visit many years ago of your mother cooking for and taking care of her family. It was a beautiful sharing of her life showing what she valued most, her family and home and she will alway

In my earlier message I stated that you are with Grandpa and Timmie and are smiling down upon us. I did not mean to leave out Uncle Harvey. I am glad you are all together and we will see there someday. We love you all!
