Betty A. Smith, age 64, died Wednesday (2/10/2010) at Richmond County Hospice House.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday at 10:00 AM at Fry and Prickett Funeral Home with the Rev.Tom Herndon officiating.
A native of Moore County she was the daughter of the late Charles Smith and Hazel Yow Smith. Betty lived in Fayetteville for 25 years and managed Carriage Hills Apartments prior to her disability. She was preceded in death by a sister, Mary Ellen Bryant and a brother, Henry Smith.
She is survived by nieces, Barbara Morrison and husband, Dan of Southern Pines; Phyllis Humble and husband Jimmy, of Randleman; nephews, Jim Bryant and wife Kathy, of Woodstock, GA and Larry Powers and wife, Karen of Vass and special friends, Ocheane & Mickey Tilley..
