Betty H. Picerno, age 75 of Carthage died Wednesday (April 7, 2010) at her residence.
Funeral services will be 2:00 PM Friday at Trinity Bible Church conducted by Dr. William J. Maness and the Rev. Max Williams. Burial will be in the Sandhills State Veterans Cemetery in Spring Lake.
A native of Moore County she had worked as a sales associate in women's clothing at various stores including D.A. Kelly's, Fashion Square and Helen's Dress Shop. She was preceded in death by her husband Joseph Picerno and a brother N.A. McLeod.
She is survived by: sons Nick Picerno and wife Jan of Seven Lakes, Tony Picerno of Seven Lakes; sister Ruth McIntosh of Troy and Linda Phillips of Carthage; grandchildren Jennifer, Joey, Samantha, Philip, Travis and Wesley; great grandchildren Juliet, Brandon and Camryn.
The family will receive friends at Fry and Prickett Funeral Home in Carthage Thursday from 6:00 —8:00 PM and other times at the residence.
