Betty Lou Moore
August 21, 2019
Betty Lou “Boo Boo” Moore, 75, passed away on Tuesday, August 20, 2019 at FirstHealth Moore Regional Hospital, surrounded by her family.
Funeral services will be 2:00 PM, Friday, August 23, 2019 at Union Grove Baptist Church, with Dr. Ron Chaney and Reverend David McLaurin officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends prior to the service beginning at 1:00 PM and other times at the home.
Betty was a native of Moore County. She was the “best” sister, wife, mom, grandma and aunt. You could not ask for any better. Betty enjoyed caring for her yard, her flowers and reading a good book. She was retired from Wal-Mart after 14 years of service. She loved the Lord and was a member of Union Grove Baptist Church. Betty loved her grandchildren very much. She had many friends, never met a stranger and always looked on the “sunny side” of life. Betty was a daughter of the late Edgar and Bessie Comer Teague.
Betty is survived by husband of 55 years, Larry; son: Michael Moore and wife Karen, of Durham; daughter: Karen Loggains and husband Kevin, of Asheboro; grandchildren: Conor Moore, Luke Loggains; sister: Ruth OQuinn and husband Halford; brother: Fred Teague and wife Jean; many nieces, nephews and friends.
Memorials may be made to Union Grove Baptist Church Cemetery Fund, 7912 Union Grove Church Road, Seagrove, NC 27341..
Kennedy Funeral Home is honored to serve the Moore family.
