Beuna Allred Shields, 77, passed away Tuesday, September 14, 2021 at FirstHealth Moore Regional Hospital, Pinehurst, NC
Beuna was a native of Moore County and a graduate of Elise High School. She attended a Business College and later graduated from Sandhills Community College. Beuna worked for over 30 years at Bethesda Halfway House. She was a loving daughter, wife, mother and grandmother. She was proud of her family and especially enjoyed time spent with her grandson. Beuna like to visit her extended family any time she could. She was a member of Robbins First Baptist Church. Beuna was a daughter of the late Eather C. “Dick” and Janie Arnold Allred and was preceded in death by husband: Paul Shields; brothers: E C Allred, Jr, Truby Allred.
Beuna is survived by daughter: Sybrena Shields; son: Damon Shields; grandson: Devon Paul Shields; and many friends.
Memorials can be made to Bethesda Halfway House, 204 Pine Street, Aberdeen, NC 28315, St Jude Children Hospital, 501 St Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105, Robbins First Baptist Church, 651 Hemp Street, Robbins, NC 27325.
Graveside memorial service will be 11 AM, Thursday, September 30, 2021 at Pine Rest Cemetery, Robbins NC, with Dr. Kenneth McNeill officiating.

Beuna was a very kind lady who loved her family and always put them first. I have had both a business and personal friendship with Beuna for over forty years. Each time I met with her on a business basis, it immediately became a friendship visit, and I left feeling I had just visited a good friend, and had not been working at all. She always seemed to love everyone see met. What a great legacy for this nice lady to leave this troubled world.
