Beverly Bonner Taylor of Jackson Springs NC died May 26, 2022 surrounded by her family.  

A graduate of Sandhills Community College, she was a Registered Nurse for 33 years at FirstHealth of the Carolinas Moore Regional Hospital in Pinehurst, NC.

She enjoyed spending time on her farm turning pottery, gardening, playing her guitar and singing.

Preceded in death by her father, James Irvin Taylor, she is survived by her partner, Pete Vuncannon of Jackson Springs NC; daughter Charlotte Collins (Justin) of Eureka CA; mother Peggy Taylor of Tarboro NC; brothers Jay Taylor (Diane) of Wake Forest NC, Gray Taylor (Ginger) of Tarboro NC, and Michael Taylor (Cindy) of Clayton NC; five grandchildren and numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.  

Those who knew Beverly knew she fought a long and courageous battle with cancer for over 10 years.  She never met a stranger and always had a great attitude about life.

At her request, a private burial will take place.

Memorials can be made in her honor to the Multiple Myeloma Research Foundation, PO Box 414238, Boston MA 02241-4238, or to a charity of your choice.

  6. Beverly had a zest for life. I worked with her in CVT. Always the prankster yet always an advocate for her patients. Our paths diverged for a time, but recently they converged again through Multiple Myeloma. Beverly was my Multiple Myeloma buddy. She came to my house and she shared her story. She answered my questions but most importantly gave me hope. Even while she was going through her most recent treatment, she would ask about how my treatment was going. Always the caring soul. God speed Bev, you will be missed my friend.
