Beverly Born Purvis, 70, of Highfalls, passed away Saturday, December 1, 2018 at First Health in Pinehurst. Born September 4th, 1948, she was a native of Atlanta, Georgia.

Funeral Services will be held at Glendon Independent Christian Church in Glendon at 2:00 pm on Tuesday, December 4, 2018.

Nothing brought "Grammie" more pleasure than spending time with her family. Her grandchildren were her pride and joy and her unconditional giving of kindness and love always set an example for her family and those around her.

She is survived by her husband of 52 years, Jerry M Purvis, Sr, son Jerry "Peanut" Purvis, Jr. & Jenny, daughter Cheryl Purvis, son Brad Purvis & Dana and eight grandchildren Norman Purvis, II, Eli Purvis, Madison Weiss, Tyler Weiss, Mallie Clara Purvis, Zeb Purvis, Gabe Purvis and Hagen Purvis, all of Highfalls as well as brothers Kenneth Born of Mebane and Jimmy Nall of Carthage.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorial contributions be sent to Glendon Independent Christian Church 148 Glendon Church Road Glendon, NC 27325.
