Bill Andrew Hall, age 89, of Southern Pines, passed away Wednesday February 15, 2017 at FirstHealth Moore Regional Hospital in Pinehurst.
Funeral services will be held 11:00 AM, Saturday, at Powell Funeral Home of Southern Pines, NC, with the Reverend Dr. David Boroughs, officiating. Burial will follow at Pinelawn Memorial Park Southern Pines, NC. The family will receive friends at the funeral home prior to the service beginning at 10:00 AM.
He was born on August 1, 1927, in Erwin to the late Andrew and Odis Hall. A US Navy veteran of WWII, Bill worked in civil service at Simmons Air Force Base and later as a mail carrier for the Southern Pines Post Office.
Bill is survived by his wife of 66 years Patsy Martin Hall, daughter, Judy H. Clark and husband Richard of Fayetteville; son, William Rickey Hall and wife Myra of Aberdeen, NC; two grandsons, William R. Hall, Jr. and John Martin Hall; and granddaughter, Sarah Grace Hall.
Powell Funeral Home and Crematory of Southern Pines is assisting the Hall family.
