Bill Morgan Moore, 52 of Southern Pines passed away Wednesday, January 19, 2011 at Peak Resources in Carthage.
Funeral Services will be Saturday, January 22, 2011 at 2 PM at First Presbyterian Church, 110 S. Ray Street, Carthage with Rev Rick Martindale and Harold Pearson officiating. Family will receive friends at the residence of Geraldine Moore, 375 Bingham Street, Carthage.
A graduate of Union Pines High School he attended Sandhills Community College and was self employed as a Appliance Technician. He was known for his ready wit and unselfishly helping of others. He loved his family and friends and they loved him.
He is preceded in death by his father, Earl Morgan Moore.
He is survived by his mother, Geraldine Prescott Moore; a daughter, Morgan Lynn Moore of Lincolnton; a son, Matthew Grant Moore of Lincolnton; sisters, Susan M. Jackson of Apex, Sheree' M. Kelly and husband Mike of Carthage; brothers, David Earl Moore and wife Martha of North Augusta, SC, Michael Lee Moore of Carthage, and Stephen Prescott Moore and wife, Jeanette Brooks Moore of Southern Pines; nine nieces and nephews and seven great nieces and nephews.
