Billy A. Burns 66 , passed away Tuesday, February 14, 2012 at his home.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM Friday, February 17, 2012 at Pleasant View Friends Church, where he was a member, officiating will be Reverend Jacelyn Jones. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
Mr. Burns was a native of Moore County and a retired welder. He enjoyed spending time with his precious grandchildren,whom he was proud of. He also enjoyed NASCAR and Carolina Basketball. He was a son of the late Melvin and Nora Maness Burns.
Billy is survived by his wife: Judy Scott Burns, of the home, daughter: Tracy Burns Vest and husband Wayne, of Pinehurst, brother: Lloyd Burns and wife Aileen of Robbins, sisters: Hilda Purvis, of Robbins, Jacqueline Seawell and husband Floyd, of Carthage, Brenda Hussey and husband Johnny, of Eagle Springs, grandchildren: Ella Catherine and Evan Carter Vest.
The family will receive friends from 6 - 8 PM Thursday, February 16, 2012 at Kennedy Funeral Home, Robbins and at other times at the home.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Pleasant View Friends Church, 13942 NC Hwy 24/27, Eagle Springs, NC 27242
