Bobby Martindale, 66, died Sunday, April 3, 2016 at FirstHealth Moore Regional Hospital.

The funeral service will be held at 3:00 PM, Wednesday April 6, 2016 at the First Wesleyan Church, with the Reverend Sam Swinney and Reverend Wilson Harris officiating.  Burial will follow at Pine Rest Cemetery.

A native of Moore County, he was one of eight children born to the late Marvin Martindale and Mary Phillips Burrow.  He served in the United States Army Air Borne and was a member of the Robbins Volunteer Fire Department.  He was employed in the furniture industry for over 20 years and also worked at Mansion Homes.  Bobby was a loving husband, father and grandfather.  He loved his grandchildren very much.  He enjoyed racing, fishing and golf.  Bobby was a Redskins football and Carolina basketball fan.  He was preceded in death by brothers: Harold and Bill; sisters: Myrtle, Edith, Judy, Carol and Linda.

He is survived by his wife, Kathy Morgan Martindale; daughters April Lee and husband Keith, Beth Martindale, Paula Martindale; grandchildren Farrah Prewitt, Kayla Enloe,Sydney Lee, Emma Martindale and Rayna Lee.

The family will recieve friends on Tuesday April 5, 2016 from 6-8 PM at Kennedy Funeral Home and at other times at the home of April Lee, 4727 Busbee Road, Seagrove, NC.
