Brenda Chriscoe Ritter (66) of Robbins passed away on Friday, October 16 , 2015 at her home.  

 

A memorial service will be held at Needham’s Grove Baptist Church on Wednesday, October 21, 2015 at 2 pm, with the  Reverend Dennis J. Harry, Jr. officiating.

 

Brenda was a lifelong member of  Needham’s Grove Baptist Church and retired from teaching at Westmoore Elementary School in 2013.  In her retirement, Brenda enjoyed sewing and quilting with her sisters.

 

She is survived by her husband of 50 years, Boyd Ritter; three children, Marissa Mills and husband Billy Mills, Karen Ritter, and Will Ritter; two grandchildren, Molly Cogburn and Robby Cogburn; and four siblings, Janice Hussey, Marsha Clark, Tony Chriscoe, and Randy Chriscoe.

 

Memorials can be sent to The Building Fund at Needham’s Grove Baptist Church at 359 Needham Grove Road Seagrove, NC 27341.

  14. Mrs. Ritter was a wonderful woman. She always looked out for me and had a big smile on her face when she saw me even after my years at Westmoore. My dearest sympathy and prayers for peace and comfort go out to her family. It was a blessing to know her.
