Carolyn E.Stuart, age 70 died Wednesday (August 4, 2010) at Lee County Nursing Center in Sanford.
Funeral services will be 3:00 PM Sunday at Powell Funeral Home in Southern Pines conducted by the Rev. Curtis Barbery burial will follow at Beulah Hill Baptist Church cemetery.
A native of Moore County she was a daughter of the late Johnnie and Laveria Elizabeth Ussery Stuart. She worked as a cook for many years and her last job was at Shirley's Restaurant in Robbins.
She is survived by: a daughter Tammy Patterson Harmon and husband Randy of Robbins; sisters Beverly Wilson and Marion Stuart; grandchildren Bobby Patterson, Bryan Patterson, Terrie Strickland, Randy Harmon, Jr.; great-granddaughter Holly Patterson.
The family will receive friends at Powell Funeral Home from 6:00 - 7:30 Saturday.
