Carolyn Jordan Brown, age 73 of Random Woods, Robbins died Saturday (April 16, 2011) at FirstHealth Moore Regional Hospital in Pinehurst.
Funeral Services will be 2:00 PM Monday at Unity Grove Baptist Church. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
A native of Moore County she was a daughter of the late Graham Jordan and Myrtle Simmons Jordan. She worked for many years at Robbins Mill. She was preceded in death by: brothers Albert Clendenin, Sr., Edward Jordan, Donnie Jordan and sister Sally Jordan.
Survivors include: Husband Lawrence T. Brown; children Sharon Lucas of Carthage, Tony Vest and wife Charlotte of Robbins, Jimmy Brown and wife Cathy of Robbins, Patricia McCaskill and husband Richard of Carthage; brother Floyd Jordan of West End; 13 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends at Kennedy Funeral Home Sunday from 6:00 - 8:00 PM and other times at the residence.
