Cecelia Baker Thompson, age 86 of Cameron died Monday, November 24, 2014 at Golden Living Center in Charlotte.
Funeral services will be 2:00 PM Friday at Cameron Baptist Church conducted by the Rev. Dr. Wayne Greene. Burial will follow in Cameron Cemetery.The family will receive friends at the church prior to the service beginning at 1:00 PM.
Born in Camden, South Carolina, she was the last surviving child of the late Clyde and Maude Baker. She was a Registered Nurse.
She was preceded in death by her husband Carl Thompson Jr. and son Carl Thompson III.
She is survived by: sons Joseph Thompson and wife Jan of Emerald Isle, Jim Thompson of Charlotte, Craig Thompson and wife Tina of Mt. Holly; grandchildren Daniel, Bailey, Jonathon and Michael Dean.
Fry and Prickett Funeral Home in Carthage is serving the Thompson family.
