Charles C. Sheffield, age 77 of 2480 Niagara-Carthage Road died Monday (October 16, 2006) at FirstHealth Moore Regional Hospital in Pinehurst.
Funeral Service will be 2:00 PM Wednesday at Pineywood Baptist Church conducted by the Rev. Charles Lassiter. Burial will follow in the church cemetery with military honors.
A native of Moore County he was a son of the late Isaac "Ike" and Tish Brewer Sheffield. He was a US Army Veteran and a retired landscaper.
He is survived by: his wife Mickey Doss Sheffield; daughters Janet Felix, Linda Johnson and husband Howard all of Carthage, Cheryl Sellers and husband Barry of Rockingham; Kim Terry and husband Bob of Hubert, NC, Sharon Sheffield of the home; brother Carl Sheffield and sister Corey Sheffield both of Robbins; nine grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandson.
The family will receive friends at Fry and Prickett Funeral Home Tuesday from 6:00 pm - 8:00 PM and other times at the residence.
