Charles Edward McNeill, 78 of Robbins died Saturday (May 14, 2011) at Hospice of Randolph County in Asheboro.
Funeral services will be 3:00 PM Monday at Union Grove Baptist Church conducted by the Rev. Thomas Hussey and the Rev. Dr. Ron Chaney. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
A native of Moore County he was a son of the late Allen Leonard and Nannie Elizabeth Ritter McNeill. He was a farmer for many years and a member of Union Grove Baptist Church.
He is survived by: brothers Allen McNeill and wife Barbara of Asheboro, Harold McNeill and wife Cindy of Lexington; sister Elizabeth Hussey and husband Thomas of Summerfield; sister in laws, Irene McNeill of Ramseur, Martha McNeill of New London; and a special niece Martha Caudill and husband Carl of Asheboro. He is also survived by many other nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends at Kennedy Funeral Home in Robbins on Sunday from 6:00 - 8:00 PM.
