Mr. Charles Jerome Goins of Carthage, NC, went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, September 6, 2020. He was born to the late Caroline Goins and Jerome Caddell on October 19, 1942.
A graveside service will be held on Thursday September 10, 2020 at 11am at John Hall Presbyterian Church Cemetery with Rev. Angelia Davis officiating.
Charles lived a quiet life and spent much of his time watching television. He loved most sports, especially tennis. Charles kept up with everything politically. He was very stern and opinionated.
Charles was a member of the Pinckney High School Class of 1961. After graduating, he worked for Carthage Fabric and Proctor Silex, where he retired.
Charles was preceded in death by his parents and grandparents; Nannie Lou Caddell Goins and Theodore “Ted” Goins.
He leaves to cherish his memory a loving sister, Sherdine McKoy; a devoted niece, Ivy McKoy of Carthage, NC, other family and friends.
