Christell Ervin 74,  went to be with her Lord and Savior Monday, September 23, 2019 at FirstHealth Moore Regional Hospital, Pinehurst, NC, surrounded by her family.

Funeral Service will be 3:00 PM, Friday, September 27, 2019 at The Methodist Church of Spies, 3119 Spies Road, Robbins, NC, with the Reverend Gary Melchin and Reverend Allen Hale officiating. Burial will follow in Browns Chapel Christian Church Cemetery.    The family will receive friends prior to the service beginning at 2:00 PM and following the Committal at The Methodist Church of Spies Fellowship Hall. 

Christell was born in Dillon SC on December 10, 1944 to the late Chapman and Mary McDougal Jacobs. She worked with her family on the farm growing up.  She enjoyed cooking, making crafts, and traveling to new places. Christell was a loving daughter, sister, and aunt. She enjoyed family gatherings and time spent with friends. As a resident at Pinelake, she enjoyed playing bingo with her friends there. Christell was preceded in death by niece: Esther Collins.

Christell is survived by sister: Wanda Hale and husband Allen, of Randleman; brothers: Daniel Jacobs and wife Mary, of Robbins, Lonnie Jacobs and wife Linda, of Robbins; 2 nieces,  1 nephew, 2 great nieces, 2 great great nieces, 1 great great nephew and many friends.

She was was such a joy and we always looked forward to her visiting with us when we were visiting our Mom, Johnsie Rouse Williams, when she was a resident of Pinelake.   3. So sorry to hear of Christel’s passing. She was always such a blessing to us when we came every month for a song service. Smiling and happy to see each of us and always had a hug. We will miss her.
