Christian Brandon Ramirez

Christian Brandon Ramirez, 52, of Southern Pines, passed away on Saturday, February 15, 2025, at FirstHealth Hospice House and Palliative Care in West End.

Brandon was born November 21, 1972, to Romeo and Deborah Roberts Ramirez in Sun Valley, California. He is preceded in death by his father, Romeo.

He is survived by his beloved wife of 22 years, Christina Dickey Ramirez, his mother and step-father, Ted and Deborah Turner; his three children: Zoe Ramirez of Phoenix, Arizona, Ava and Joseph Ramirez of Southern Pines; his grandmother, Angelina Ramirez; sisters: Salina Shelton and Nadia Gray; brother, Mark Ramirez; and many aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews.

Brandon had a deep love for his family and an unwavering dedication to his country. He proudly served 24 years in the Army, and after his retirement, he continued sharing his expertise as a military contractor. Outside of his professional life, Brandon had a passion for hand-forging blades, practicing jiu-jitsu, and riding his motorcycle. He found great joy in being outdoors – whether that was going fishing, camping, hiking or just jogging around the block. Brandon’s legacy of service, adventure, and love for his family will be deeply missed and forever cherished.

A memorial service with military honors will be held at Community Congregational Church: 141 N. Bennett St., Southern Pines, North Carolina, on Friday, April 11, 2025, at 2 p.m.
