Clarence Paul Myrick

Clarence Paul Myrick age84 of Carthage died January 6, 2011 at his residence with his
family by his side.
A funeral service will be held on Sunday January 9, 2011 at 3 PM at Pine Grove Baptist Church with the Rev. Bill Reynolds officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends following the service in the fellowship hall.
Born in Montgomery County, he was the son of the late Corbin Otto Myrick and Liza Williams Myrick. During his lifetime he enjoyed sawmilling and he retired as a timber buyer. He was preceded in death by two sons, Aaron Brent Myrick and Jeffery Paul Myrick; two sisters, Joyce M Allred and Jewel M Boone, and two brothers, Charles J Myrick and Jack L Myrick.
He is survived by his wife, Anne Askins-Myrick; a son, Timothy Joe Myrick & wife, Donna of Carthage; brothers, Bobby H Myrick of Star and Vernon R. Myrick of Carthage; step-sons, Mark Allen Askins & Talmadge Wayne Askins both of Goldston; and three grandchildren, Evin B. Myrick, Jeffery Heath Myrick and Jason N Myrick.
The family have requested no food or flowers. Donations may be made to Pine Grove Baptist Church Cemetery, 488 Browers Mill Road, Star, NC 27356
