Cleaburn Hayes, Jr., 63 of 240 E. Salisbury St. died Wednesday, August 19, 2009 at his home.
Funeral service will be held 2:00 PM. Saturday, August 22, 2009 at The Church of God of Prophecy with the Rev. Burton King and the Rev. Lloyd Williamson officiating. Burial will follow in Pine Rest cemetery.
Mr. Hayes was a native of Marion County, SC. He lived in Robbins most of his life, and was a self-employed Carpenter.
Surviving is: Daughters; Susan H. Smith and husband Doug of Aberdeen, Renee H. Ehlers and husband Kenny of Sanford, Carlotta H. Scott and husband Russell of Bear Creek, Robin H. Hoeppner and husband Danny of Robbins and Judith Hayes and Fiancée Kevin Hamilton of Robbins.
Sisters: Geraldine Nobles of Cerro Gordo, NC. and Christine Moody of Elizabethtown, NC.
14 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends 7:00 " 9:00 PM. Friday, August 21, 2009 at Kennedy Funeral Home, Robbins and other times at the home.
