Cora Sheffield Williams 94, of Eagle Springs, died Tuesday, May 24, 2011 at her home.
Funeral services will be 2:00 PM Friday, May 27, 2011 at Browns Chapel Christian Church with Reverend Michael Parenti officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
Mrs. Williams was a native of Moore County, the daughter of the late Isaac and Polly Martha Sanders Sheffield. She was preceded in death by her husband Archie Clarence Williams and her 11 brothers and sisters. She loved caring for her children and her home..
Mrs. Williams is survived by daughter: Lois Simon and husband Eddie of Greensboro, sons: Archie Williams and wife Joan of Star, Gilbert Williams and wife Elsie of Eagle Springs, Van Williams and wife Helen of Eagle Springs, eight grandchildren and six great grandchildren.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 PM, Thursday, May 26, 2011 at Kennedy Funeral Home in Robbins and following the service in the church fellowship hall.
