Coy Lee Sheffield age 77 died Thursday (11/18/2010) at his residence.
A graveside service will be held at 1:00 PM on Sunday at Browns Chapel Christian Church with the Rev. Michael Parenti officiating.
A native of Moore County he was the son of the late Harvey Sheffield and Ada Brown Sheffield, a US Army veteran and a welder by trade.
Survivors include a daughter, Sherri Sheffield of Atlanta, GA; a son, Randy Sheffield and wife Rhonda of Panama City, Florida; two sisters, Burlene Wright of Asheboro and Norene Simms of Goldsboro; and two grandchildren.
The family will receive friends from 6:00-8:00 PM on Saturday at Kennedy Funeral Home.
