Dan and I both went to Carthage Elementary and Union Pines High School. His sister Leona was my classmate, and all three of the Thomas children and I studied piano with Mrs. Audrey Poole. He had a great sense of humor and was a friend to many. He will definitely be missed.

Condolences to Marie and family, ran into Dan and his little grandson a few weeks ago when I took my grandson to the park at Hillcrest, we talked about what a blessing family and grandchildren are.
My condolences to Dan’s family. Dan is my first cousin on the Thomas side. I spent many times staying with Aunt Dot and Uncle Le Mont when I was younger. Dan was the sweetest little boy.
I know how much he loved his family and he will be missed by anyone that knew him. May God comfort his family and many friends. God Bless! RIP dear Dan. Much love to you all.
Marie and family,
